 Shanghai Alison Group Co., Ltd., led by Shanghai Economy Committee, is a tremendous transnational corporation invested by China Zhongqing Group. Now its businesses contain industry, import/export, real estate and financial investment. Techniques in ERW steel pipe, BOPS and advanced Silk-pile are mastered by the company. In recent years, the company¡¯s comprehensive strength has been greatly enhanced. The technique, marketing and products quality of the company are listed among top ones in China.
£ £ Adapting the market and maximizing its profit, Alison adjusted its business structure to ¡° Industry is basis, import/export is pillar and real estate is new profit¡± in according to changes of international and domestic market after China¡¯s entry to the WTO.
£ £ The group has laid a solid foundation in industry. The output of Alison Steel Pipe accounts for 50% of the whole output in China. And its market share remains the first for consecutive years. As far as its Silk-pile products are concerned, the output reached 1 million meters a year and all the products are sold overseas. Shanghai Alison Petro-chemical Co., Ltd., which was started to set up in 2002 and its total investment amounted to RMB 12 billion, plans to produce 1 million tons of PET and 1.8 million tons of PTA per year. The whole project is divided into 4 terms, and the first term will be completed and start operation in Feb. 2004.
